Pomatum is a perfumed ointment used for the hair, face, and skin. Scented Bergamot Hair Pomatum is based on a recipe entitled "To Make Pomatum" from 1739. This blend of wax, spermaceti, and almond oil has been used for over 300 years with minor changes, and Bergamot is documented to have been a very popular, versatile fragrance since at least the mid-18th century. -
Brilliantine is a hair-grooming product intended to soften hair, including beards and mustaches, and give it a glossy, well-groomed appearance. It was created at the turn of the 20th century by French perfumer Édouard Pinaud. This recipe is an original from 1936. Traditional Bay Rum scent. Note: This product will separate.
