The name “Grafton” was given to Truefitts’ newly blended fragrance in 1983 at the suggestion of one of HMS Grafton’s officers, who while being attended to by a Truefitts’ barber, particularly liked this unmistakably masculine aroma and suggested that the new fragrance be named after the gracious line of HMS battleships.
