This is a double extraction, meaning it is a combination of an alcohol tincture and a water decoction, in order to extract the full spectrum of constituents including polysaccharides, triterpenes, lipids, lectins, fatty acids, peptidoglycans, proteins, adenosine, phenolic compounds, melanin, triterpenoids (betulin and betulinic acid), lanostane triterpenoids, as well as various vitamins and minerals.
