This facial cleanser, a combination of skin softening almond oil and PH-balancing Rose Water, is rumored to have been a part of Jane Austen’s cosmetic routine. An 1819 ad stated that Milk of Roses was “the most delightful cosmetic in Europe”. This version was made following recipe from 1811, and will need to be vigorously shaken to combine the ingredients. Use daily with a cotton ball.
